and I presume date from the 1950s or so

There is a bit of a tendency of round boxes like this to warp as the wood expands and contracts

There is residue from an old piece of tape on one side and some darkening to the copper

Well Weathered Wooden Cutout Bluebird fun cup I'd probably be inclined toI seem to be having a bit of a bird moment, perhaps because the birds seem happier and more abundant than ever this year, but also because I've been finding good ones everywhere! I really love the way this painted wooden cutout one has aged, giving a terrific softness to the blue, especially on one side where the wood is showing through on the lower body. Really lovely. 12" tall x 5 1 2" widest x 3 8" thick. Good condition, with some roughness to the
